West Java Blue 🇮🇩 Semi-washed Process
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week’s coffee is semi-washed process coffee from West Java, Indonesia. It shares an aromatic woodsy note with last week’s Ethiopia. That was a rare note for an Ethiopian coffee, but not so much for Indonesian coffees where we expect deeper, funkier, earthier notes. The woodsy note is complemented by dark chocolate, tobacco, dried fruit, and citrus.
The origin track for the week is some 1970s Indo-funk: Don’t Talk About Freedom by Harry Roesli Gang.
Cheers,
Ryan
p.s. Sorry, no spares again this week.
