Sideyard Notes: Peru 🇵🇪 Warmikuna* Women's Co-Op 🪩
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week's coffee is a re-up of the coffee we had back in the first week of April. I heard from a few folks that really enjoyed it, so here it is again! The grapefruit note is a little brighter and grabbier this time through, supported again by the lower-toned caramel and dark chocolate notes, and a tannic finish. There are a couple spare 12oz bags.
The dancehall-haunting origin track recommendation for the week is Lemuria by the Lima-based psychedelic cumbia/dub/techno duo Dengue Dengue Dengue.
Cheers,
Ryan
*The name Warmikuna means ´women´ in Qechua, one of Peru´s oldest languages. The second most widely spoken language in Peru, Quecha was the language spoken by the Incas and is still used throughout several countries in South America.
