Sideyard Notes: Kenya 🇰🇪 Muthunzuuni Co-op
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week's roast is a Kenyan coffee from the Muthunzuuni co-op. Kenyan coffees are famously dense, which has implications for both roasting as well as how long it takes the flavor profile to fully open up. It was roasted Wednesday and as of this morning it's tasting pretty good, but it will continue to develop over the course of the next week. It's roasted toward the darker end of medium and I'm tasting dark chocolate, black tea (see especially the tanic/drying finish), caramel, and citrus.
The origin track for the week is What About Me? by Kenyan rapper and videographer Nah Eeto.
We have a handful of 12oz spares bagged up and in stock on the site.Â
Cheers,
Ryan
