Sideyard Notes: Blend Week 🇵🇪 + 🇪🇹 + 🇨🇷
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week's roast is a blend of recent leftover greens from Peru, Costa Rica, and Ethiopia. Our garage-roastery was pretty pretty hot on Wednesday, but it doesn't seem to have had an impact on the roast itself because this might be my favorite blend yet. The Peru is the darker and more bodied of these three and makes a great base for the fruitier notes of the Costa Rica honey process and lighter/higher toned washed Ethiopia.
The origin track recommendation for the week is this Marimba-meets-Reggae track by Pochi Marambio y Tierra Sur of Peru.Â
