Sideyard Coffee: September 24 - π¨π©/π¨π·/πͺπΉ+π₯
Hi Sideyard Friends,
This week we roasted up the remaining green beans from three recent origins and blended it all together (3 parts DRC, 2 parts Costa Rica, 1 part Ethiopia). There's a nice range of roast levels and flavors coming throughβfrom the natural fermentation fruitiness of the Costa Rica and Ethiopia to the caramel and chocolate of the DRC. If you want to check out tasting notes from the individual coffees, the archive of newsletters is Β here. And here's a musical melange (London/Nairobi) to go with it: Nabed Nade Ei Piny Ka by the Owiny Sigoma Band. Love that bass and synth combo.Β
For November we move to auto-renewing subscription payments through Stripe, so this is the last subscription payment reminder you'll get from me. Probably! Hopefully! In any case, please send your October subscription payments via Zelle or Venmo or a one-off Stripe payment using the links below.
October totals:
12oz/week - $48
16oz/week - $60
24oz/week - $90
Thanks and cheers,
Ryan
p.s. Sideyard passed one ton of coffee roasted this week! π₯ Though one ton of coffee is an infinitesimally small fraction of the global coffee supply chain, we're proud to play a small part in supporting specialty coffee farmers, processors, and importers that care deeply about ethical and sustainable production, from crop to cup.Β
