Sideyard Coffee: May 20 - Colombia 🇨🇴 Huila El Bombo 🍫🍒 Extras!!
Hello Sideyard Friends,
We decided to take advantage of today's nice biking weather to get this week's subscription deliveries out a day early! If you were expecting coffee tomorrow afternoon, please check your mailbox or porch when you have a minute.
This week's coffee is from the Huila department of Colombia. After two days rest, we’re tasting bittersweet chocolate, almond/amaretto, and grape–flavors that are very much in line with speciality-grade coffees from the Huila region of Colombia.
Thanks to those of you who stopped by the Rare Bird mini market this morning! If the weather doesn't completely get in the way, we'll be at What's Blooming on Harrison this Saturday starting at 11am. We're sharing a booth with our friend Tim from Lyman Ave Bread and we'll have lots of origins on hand: Java, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and a few extras from this week's Colombia. Stop by to grab an extra 8oz bag.
The origin track of the week is Se Te Olvidó by Medellín-native, singer songwriter Bella Álvarez.
Cheers,
Ryan
