Sideyard Coffee: June 25 - Burundi 🇧🇮 + 🤞
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week we're drinking a coffee from Burundi. It was roasted yesterday and after one night's rest I'm tasting some nice spiced notes, a bit of chocolate, and dried fruit as the cup cools. It has good sweetness and a nice snappy acidity as well. The flavors should continue to open up in the coming days.

Progress on the new roastery is slow (if only because I'm feeling quite impatient) but steady. Next week should be the week we make the transition. 🤞 We have coffees lined up from El Salvador, Sulawesi, Colombia, and (if it makes landfall in time) Ethiopia. 🤞
