Sideyard Coffee: June 18 - Guatemala ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿฎ + extras

Hello Sideyard Friends,

This week we're drinking a coffee from Guatemala. I'm tasting caramel (flan?), nuttiness, and a touch of bitter chocolate in the finish. It's quite different from last week's overtly fruity Ethiopian Yirgacheffe! If you're missing last week's coffee already, as I am, worry not because there's a similar Ethiopian coffee on tap for July/August. If, on the other hand, you're excited for something less intense, this Guatemala should be just right.ย

I'm hoping to be up and running on the fancy new (to me) roaster in a few weeks--right at about the one year mark for Sideyard. The new machine is going to provide more consistency, more control, and even more delicious coffee.ย

Guatemalan singer songwriter Gaby Moreno's cover of Luna de Xelajรบ (a waltz written in 1944) is this week's origin track recommendation.

Cheers,

Ryan

p.s. I have a couple extra 12s and a couple extra 8s this week.ย
