Sideyard Coffee: January 1 - Sulawesi 🇮🇩
Dear Sideyard Friends,
Happy New Year! We're starting off the year with a coffee from the 11th largest island in the world–the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. Farmers here produce some of the cleanest tasting Indonesia coffees, though you'll still pick up some earthiness (a hallmark of Indonesian coffee) in addition to plenty of spice and a bit of pine. It's an easy drinking coffee that offers a great flavor contrast to the fruity Ethiopian from a few weeks back.Â
Thanks again for supporting this hobby of mine. I've learned more about coffee in the past four months running Sideyard than I had in the previous seven years roasting coffee for just myself and my partner. I look forward to sharing even more delicious and interesting coffees during the coming year!
Cheers,
Ryan
