Sideyard Coffee: December 3 - Ethiopia 🇪🇹 Hambela Dabaye
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week's coffee is a dry process coffee from the Hambela Dabaye processing station in the Guji zone of Ethiopia. It's cleaner tasting than most Ethiopian dry process coffees, which means the fermentation flavors that we associate with natural/dry processing are more subtle. We roasted it towards the darker side of medium (Full City +), which is drawing out ripe/dried fruit and berry flavors and a great bitter chocolate undertone. When I tried it yesterday morning, I was skeptical, but today I'm enthusiastically on board and trust that it will keep getting better over the next couple days. Hope you love it.Â
Cheers,
Ryan
