Sideyard Coffee: December 23 - Costa Rica 🇨🇷 🎄
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week's coffee is a washed Costa Rica. It's a clean-tasting medium roast that's bringing balance to the last few weeks of funky dry process fermentation notes. The dry grounds aroma is in line with the brewed cup-mild chocolate roast flavors, followed by honey, lychee, and a splash of cherry. Lychee is such a specific and subtle flavor that I would never have pulled that one out if I hadn't read the importer's tasting notes... but yeah, lychee!
The origin track for the week is El Muchacho de los Ojos Tristes by Soap. Like this week's coffee, it's laid back and smooth.
Next Friday is a fifth Friday, which means no coffee deliveries. Happy holidays and see you in the new year!Â
Cheers,
Ryan
