Sideyard Coffee: August 26 - Ethiopia 🇪🇹 🍈 Guji
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week's coffee is from the Dawa Basin of Ethiopia. It's a washed process coffee from heirloom shrubs that have been cultivated over centuries in the southern Guji zone of Ethiopia. The washed process imparts a less funky/more floral profile than many of the Ethiopian coffees we've had. I'm tasting honeydew/lemon-lime alongside some roast bittering.
This week's origin track is Homesickness by Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guébrou. A gentle, meandering track for a gentle, meandering coffee.
September deliveries start next Friday! We're slowly migrating everyone to a payment system connected to the new sideyard.coffee site. It allows you to directly manage your own subscription details, including credit card info, bag size, pauses, etc. If you'd like to move over now, simply sign up here: https://sideyard.coffee/products/monthly-subscription and I'll cancel your old subscription as soon as I get notification of the new one! Easy!
Cheers,
Ryan
