Sideyard Coffee: April 8 - Rwanda 🇷🇼 Kayumbu Station Natural 🍏💫
Hi Sideyard Friends,
This week's roast is a natural Rwanda, processed at the Kayumbu Washing Station in central Rwanda. I'm tasting green apple, starfruit, and caramelized roast development tones. There's not much in the way of fermented or stewed notes, which makes it a cleaner than average tasting natural process cup.
The origin track recommendation for the week is I Dream Someday to Have a Home by The Good Ones. The Good Ones formed in the wake of the Rwandan genocide and was originally comprised of one member each from the Tutsi, Hutu, and Abatwa tribes. This track comes from the album Rwanda...You See Ghosts, I See Sky, released today! The whole album is worth a listen.
Cheers,
Ryan
