Rwanda 🇷🇼 Peaberry 🍊
Hello Sideyard Friends,
Happy Spring. This week’s coffee is another peaberry lot, but this one’s from Tanzania’s neighbor to the northwest–Rwanda. I’m tasting herbal and black teas, chocolate, raw sugars, spices, and a hint of orange rind. I’m liking the upfront sweetness and acidity present at the hotter cup temperatures more than the room temp version where the herbal/spice notes are hiding out but it’s another fresher-than-average roast, so we’ll see how it develops over the next week. The cool temps still have a fighting chance to win the day.
