Rwanda Kageyo 💥 Natural Process

Hello Sideyard Friends,

This week’s roast is a juicy dry process coffee from the Ngororero district of Rwanda. With notes of blueberry, melon, strawberry, and fig, it’s a fruit salad in a cup and sure to satisfy fans of natural process coffees. It’s the kind of coffee that made me want to learn how to roast. On that note, I roasted an extra batch this week so that we’d have a handful of 12oz spares on hand. Grab one before I hoard them all for our July break.

The origin track for the week is Confessin' Love (Nina Kuomba) by Rossisendi & His Group. It hits a serious 1970’s groove with the lyric “You are the only one for me, I swear ya baby” and I’ve been told by a reliable source that Rossisendi wrote this track for a coffee very much like the one we’re drinking this week.

Cheers,

Ryan
