Peru 🇵🇪 Dry Process
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week’s roast is one of those coffees that I’m already missing before it’s gone.
It’s a dry process Peru from the Alto Pirias. Farmers in this region dry their cherries for up to 30 days before moving them on to the dry mill for pulping and further processing. This dry process method imparts big fruit flavors, body, and milder acidity in the cup. In this specific lot, the fruits are dark and winey. There’s also an earthy/tobacco undertone on the finish. If you like dry process coffees, you’ll love this one. We have three extras in stock.
The origin track for the week is Mario Allison’s 1968 cover of Richard Berry’s 1957 Louie Louie.
Cheers,
Ryan
