Happy New Year! Also happy birthday (Saturday) to my Sideyard co-conspirator Michael Green!*

We’re starting 2026 by clearing the green-coffee-decks with a blend. Perhaps it’s recency bias, but the Costa Rica and Ethiopia in this blend were some of my favorites from this past year. It was all roasted today, so while it’s drinkable tomorrow, it’ll continue to improve over the next couple days as it rests. Look out for larger than average de-gassing blooms in the brewer if you break into it first thing Saturday.
