Kenya 🇰🇪 Othaya Co-op
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week’s coffee is from the Othaya Farmer’s Cooperative in Kenya.
So far I’m tasting bright citrus, brown sugar, and cinnamon. As the cup cools it gets more complex, with a heavier spiced accent, smokey cocoa, and a stronger orange citrus. It’s already a solid cup, but I think this is one of those coffees that’s going to keep improving over the course of this coming week.
The origin track for the week is A Lot’s Happening from Kenyan producer Nu Fvnk. I hope this coffee brings everyone a little joy during this time when, indeed, a lot is happening.
