Ethiopia Yirgacheffe 🇪🇹 Natural Process

Hello Sideyard Friends,

This week’s roast is a natural process coffee from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. I’m tasting tropical fruit, brown spice, plum, and black tea. We have a couple spares in stock.

The origin track recommendation comes from neighboring Somalia where the funk/soul/disco Dur Dur Band found widespread success in the mid to late 1980s. After civil war broke out in Somalia, the band was based in Addis Ababa where they recorded a few more albums. Dooyo by Dur Dur Band.
