Ethiopia Guji 🇪🇹 Buku Sayisa 🫐
Hello Sideyard Friends,
Due to our importers’ relationships with growers and processing stations, we often end up buying the same coffees from one year to the next. “Same” is a bit of a stretch, however, given that coffee is an agricultural product and therefore each year’s harvest is a little different than the last. Rarely do we buy the same coffee more than once per season–there’s just too many coffees to try! This week’s coffee is the exception that proves the rule. I liked it so much back in October that I immediately bought another bag of greens. So here it is one more time (until next season’s harvest)—Ethiopia Guji Buku Sayisa.
It’s bright but not too bright, with notes of blueberry, honeydew, and something floral in the aroma.
The origin track recommendation for the week is Anchi Bale Game by Admas from their lost, found, and remastered Sons of Ethiopia (1984/2020).
Cheers,
Ryan
