Costa Rica 🇨🇷 Honey

Hello Sideyard Friends,

This week’s roast is a honey process coffee from the birthplace of this innovative processing method—Tarrazú Costa Rica. Honey process coffees are partially depulped before drying, and the fruit mucilage remaining on the seed during the drying process has the viscosity and look of honey. The resulting flavor profile adds sweetness without the stewed fruit or winey flavors that fully dried natural processes sometimes impart. This specific lot starts with a heavy chocolate note, followed by honey and citrus.

This week’s origin track is Roll the Dice —a dream pop track from 2023 by Soap.
