Colombia 🇨🇴 Huila Excelso

Hello Sideyard Friends,

Check out the size of those beans! That's what an "excelso" designation from the Colombia Coffee Federation looks like. Size is not synonymous with quality, but these beans are from the Huila department of Colombia, which is well known for quality. I'm tasting almond, milk chocolate, and stone fruit (roughly in that order). It's a solid medium roast with a moderate amount of acidity.

The origin track for the week is El Deseo by Neck Talese and La Muchacha. Loving the flat vocals and meandering clarinet.
