Blend week + no coffee next week

Hello Sideyard Friends,

This week’s blend includes four recent coffees and clears the deck for September’s incoming coffees. It’s on the lighter end of medium, which is bringing a little more acidity and a little less bitterness than the past few roasts. As for flavor notes, I’m picking up cocoa, caramel, black tea, and a hint of dried cherry.

The origin track for the week is the 1974 track Al Partir by Comanche (Guatemala).

Next week is a fifth Friday, which means Michael and I have the week off. Deliveries resume September 6th. Coffees on tap include Kenya, Nicaragua, and DR Congo!
