Join ALIX E. HARROW in BOSTON this November!
My friends,
It is truly the honor of my life to share that Side Quest will be hosting Alix E. Harrow for the Boston tour stop of her latest masterpiece, The Everlasting, on Wednesday, November 5, at Arts At The Armory. She’ll be in conversation with shop favorite Melissa Caruso, a deluxe hardcover edition of The Everlasting will be included with each ticket, and both authors will sign books at the end of the event.

Now, if you’ve somehow been into the shop and not heard me shout at you about Alix E. Harrow, you’ve missed out. But either way, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Alix is my personal favorite author, and she has been since her debut, The Ten Thousand Doors of January. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her a couple times, and when the opportunity to pitch for this tour stop came along, I knew I had to try.
Never in my wildest dreams imagine we’d actually get it.
For a small indie bookshop like us to host an event this size is, frankly, bonkers. I’m going to be doing an awful lot of learning in the next few months as we pull this together, but I could not be more grateful for the opportunity to do so.
The Armory holds 375 seats, and my goal is to fill every last one of them — not for me, but because I want as many folks as possible to get to see Alix and Melissa talk about their craft, their time-loop books, and the powerful, timely themes threaded throughout The Everlasting. I’ve already read it (it might knock Metal From Heaven by August Clarke off its pedestal as my top book of the year), and I cannot wait to scream about it with all of you.
Yours under the yew tree (just wait, you’ll get it soon),
Caroline
