Hail and well met, my fellow adventurers!

The 7th annual Bow Market Book Fair is upon us, and it’s gotten so big and wonderful that it’s overflowed its single allotted Saturday and now has programming all week!

Side Quest specifically is hosting:

• Thu, 3/19, 6:30pm — Zine Workshop Night w/ Courtney, held in the small Bow Market pop-up space where SQBG first started! $10, ticket required.

• Fri, 3/20, 7:30pm — Queer Speculative Fiction Panel with authors Ann LeBlanc, Thomas Bulen Jacobs and Esther Alter from the independent small press Neon Hemlock. $5 store credit, ticket required.

Ours aren’t the only events happening, though — there’s also an exclusive pre-Book Fair VIP experience and a free panel of booksellers and journalists (Lara will be there!), both happening on Wednesday, 3/18. RSVP for those here.

But of course, Saturday’s the big day, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for what we’ve got planned!

Side Quest is hosting two panels in Union Tavern — one at 11:30am on sci-fi/fantasy worldbuilding, and one at 2:00pm on retellings and remixes. The panelists for both are absolutely incredible writers, and we can’t wait to learn from them!

Both panels will include a moderated discussion, a short audience Q&A, and a personalization line. Signed copies of the authors’ books will be available for purchase.
