Folk Festival kicks off tomorrow — and there are still tickets

— This Weekend · Folk Festival —

One of the UK’s best festivals is on your doorstep tomorrow. Are you going?

Morning all — out a day early, because this genuinely won’t keep.

Tomorrow, the West Midlands Showground turns into one of the UK’s leading folk festivals. Four days, bank holiday weekend, ten minutes from town. No trains, no motorways, no £200 camping pitch in a field in Somerset. Just walk in.

And the lineup is absurd for a hometown festival:

Cara Dillon. Fantastic Negrito. Andy Fairweather Low. Talisk x Gardiner Brothers. Ferocious Dog. Katherine Priddy. Steve Knightley. Plus 50+ more acts, ceilidhs that go late, workshops, and a full family festival running alongside.

This is the weekend people travel across the country for — and it’s happening in Shrewsbury. Summer doesn’t hand you many more of these.

Day and weekend tickets still available via Gigantic. Camping too, if you fancy making a proper weekend of it.
