Volume 3: WordCamp Canada Announced, IPv4 sunset, MOAB Data Leak
Happy Friday Y'all!
I've been waiting to hit Send on this newsletter until I could share an announcement. WordCamp Canada (aka #WCEH), the inaugural national WordPress event, has been announced. It will be taking place at the Infinity Convention Centre in Canada's Capital, Ottawa, on July 12-13, 2024, with a Contributor Day on July 11th. It should be a great event (bias: I'm on the organizing team) for the WordPress community from coast-to-coast.
On with the links:
What I've written this week
What I Use: I finally added a page to my website for the gear and software I use to do my job. https://shawnhooper.ca/what-i-use/
My Projects: I've added a page to my site that lists my projects, currently all WordPress plugins. Most of these were buried in Github repos, so this will make them easier to find: https://shawnhooper.ca/projects/

There's a new site, WordPress Events, that has been launched to help you find all WordPress events. This site combines WordCamps, Local Meetups, and Other "Next Gen" WordPress events. It includes both online and in-person events. https://events.wordpress.org/
