The Bark
Happy Tuesday and the eve of Locktober! Hope you had a blast at Folsom last weekend. I've only just begun to recover but it was great to see everyone out and about having fun.
Coming up this week is SF Queer Leather Happy Hour at the Eagle and Vault-9 at Powerhouse on Friday. And on Saturday at the Eagle is Woof! A Human Puppy Social. Hope to see you out there this coming weekend!
Mischief and I are excited to share something new we’ve been cooking up: Bark•Cade! We’ve been craving a casual weeknight hangout with friends, gear optional, where we can sprawl out on the mats, play some video games, or curl up under blankets with popcorn and cartoons. Think of it as a low-effort, low-intensity midweek reset.
The very first Bark•Cade kicks off at Lone Star Saloon on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 5-9 PM. No cover, just come hang out and play.
I'm also excited to announce that Bark Before Dark is hosting the official pup/pet/handler mosh space at the Bearrison Street Fair on October 18, 2025! I've got some fun surprises planned so put it in your calendar and make sure to stop by the mosh tent.
I'm also looking for some volunteers to help out with Bark Before Dark @ Bearrison. If you'd be interested in helping out please sign up using this link. Volunteers get a free admission to the October edition of Slut Puppy.
Rocky Horror Pup Takeover
Come see The Rocky Horror Show live at Oasis on closing night with al your pup/pet/handler friends! Right after the mosh at the Eagle on Saturday, November 1st at 6pm.
This is Rocky Horror like you've never experienced. Besides the unique "OASIS" spin on the music, costumes, and choreography, the show is FULLY IMMERSIVE. The show happens all around you - from the stage, to the bar, and there might even be some freaks in CLUB TOILET ;) if you've seen the show before, be prepared for some new surprises!
Every inch of the club is transformed into Frank's Castle, so you never know if the person standing next to you is a voyeur like you or part of the experience.
