New article: urllib3 is fundraising for HTTP/2 support!

2023 was a transformative year for urllib3, headlined by the first stable release of v2.0 after multiple years of development. This release sets the stage for adding alternate HTTP implementations, like ones capable of HTTP/2 and being used with WebAssembly.

Our team is excited to deliver these new features and is fundraising to ensure sustainable development and maintenance long into the future. Adding HTTP/2 support to urllib3 would almost immediately benefit millions of Python users. If you are users of urllib3 (which if you use Python, you already are!) then we would love if you shared this fundraiser with your employer or organization.
