Welcome to our new look newsletter. For those of you that aren't so familiar with South East London Community Energy (SELCE) we are a community based energy co-operative, proudly incubated by GCDA, that takes action on tackling fuel poverty & climate change based in the Greenwich and Lewisham areas. We have been quiet on the newsletter front recently but we haven't rested on our laurels. In short:
- We are a winner of DECC's Community Energy Saving Competition this month for our pop-up energy cafe in Lewisham and Greenwich. We have delivered 3 weeks of independant,energy advice in 3 local venues supporting people to save money and energy. If you haven't seen us yet come down tomorrow 9am-12pm. We couldn't have done this without the amazing support of The Forum At Greenwich, Woolwich Common Community Centre and The Green Man Community Hub and the support of Royal Greenwich and Lewisham Councils and of course the people who have sat down and talked with us!
