We're delighted to open up our fourth share offer (the first of two we are running this year) to help raise the final portion of funds needed to support four schools and one community building in Greenwich and Lewisham upgrade their lighting systems. Share offer now open

for new member-investors!

We are excited to announce that our fourth community share offer is now open to support lighting system upgrades in community buildings, reducing their energy bills and carbon footprint. 

Between 5th of June to the 30th September 2024, through community finance, we are raising £41,438 (of £187,557) for 1,800 light bulbs and fittings which we will lease to 5 community buildings in Greenwich and Lewisham. Your membership investment means everybody benefits:

• The planet benefits through 250 tonnes of green house gas emissions saved, equivalent to 41 flights from London to New York.

• The community benefits through an otherwise unattainable installation of 1,800 bright and energy efficient light bulbs, saving these five community buildings a total of £295,000 on their energy bills. Plus, surplus from this project will donate £28,127 towards our Energy Advice service, helping local people save money and keep warm.

• And you benefit through a forecast 4% interest on your investment and membership of a growing community enterprise governed by democratic cooperative principles.
