Help Us Shine
Seeking Volunteers to Help Clean Our Solar Panels Together 🌞
As part of Selce’s mission to stay sustainable and save on costs, we’re organising a DIY Solar Panel Cleaning Day across our sites — and we’d love your help.
Dust and grime can reduce our solar panels' efficiency by up to 20%, and professional cleaning can be pricey. But with a bit of teamwork and some elbow grease, we can boost our solar output and keep our budget in great shape.
Here’s what we need:
🌞 A few willing hands to safely access our rooftops
🌞 Buckets, cloths, and a bit of elbow grease
🌞 A few hours of your time (we’ll keep it short and sweet!)
🌞 We need volunteers who are available on the 27th and/or 28th May and could meet us at Horniman Primary school Horniman Dr, London SE23 3BP.
It’s a great way to contribute to Selce, meet other members, and literally help power our community.

💡 "They’re a good investment if you want to know what your money is doing, and you want it to be tackling climate change, reducing energy costs for a community, and addressing fuel poverty."
