New mailing list and a new zine
Hi everyone,
I've decided to move to buttondown after all. It's possible that I might need to pay for it at some point, but I generally like what they're trying to do and want to support that. Hopefully moving newsletter platforms won't become a yearly tradition.
I have also finished my entry to the ttrpg JAMuary jam, probably the first time I have ever finished a project within the planned scope and on time. I've been using it as a way to continue practicing art, among other things, but I'm also pretty happy with the characters I came up with, I think they could create some great situations for players to deal with. It's free and you can find it here.

I've also been playing One Breath Left, a solo game about exploring a wrecked space ship with limited oxygen, and I also listened to half of the latest Between Two Cairns podcast, where they introduce the concept of "Door D&D", which got me thinking about why OSR-adjacent solo games are more likely to blur the boundaries of the genre in this blog post. I'm going to try and publish more blog posts this year and spend less time overthinking them. I don't plan to send an email for each one though - just batch them in my usual occasional updates. There's an RSS feed you can follow if you want more frequent updates.
