See Moir Music: April 2025
Unsurprisingly, I went to no shows in March! As of now, I’m healing up from surgery and might start heading out to shows again later this summer. Until then, YouTube and SoundCloud sets it is...
For all of you, there have been some excellent show announcements the past few weeks, so let’s get to it!
Other shows going on
What I'm not going to, but might if I had unlimited energy... bold shows are ones that I am planning on or otherwise heavily recommend...

Music lately
You can always follow me on bandcamp to see what I've bought lately…
I got really into Sam Cooke a couple months ago after listening to the Hit Parade podcast episodes about him and his life. I didn't realize that he was the original performer for Another Saturday Night, which I'd only heard as a Cat Stevens cover (the first CD I owned was Cat Steven's greatest hits)(FWIW the first cassette I owned was Train's Drops of Jupiter). My favorite track that I hadn't heard before is probably What a Wonderful World. His GOAT track is probably You Send Me. (He has a whole slew of pop songs that are all under 3 minutes… short pop songs aren't a new phenomenon!)
I also hadn't listened to Sabrina Carpenter much before the Grammy's but her song Taste is really catchy.
A coworker introduced me to BABY J and her sets have been fun too. I'm a sucker for pop edits, what can I say.
On another note, I've been listening to this DJ set of Upper90 at Intercell a lot.
Other notes
Still noodling, still vibing, no new notes.
