90. Radical flourishing
Every time I send one of these newsletters I have to go on to my social media channels and tell people to check their spam filters for the episode. It’s getting worse - and it feels like the volume of spam is back at one of its peaks again too. It’s not just my newsletter (sent via Buttondown since I migrated from Substack), it’s everyone else’s newsletters too - I am always retrieving other people's great missives from my own spam filter.
Even with this inevitability, email is still the best means for reliably communicating online - even if only half of you actually open each episode. The Balkanisation of social media over the last decade has brought the 52 year old technology of email back in a big way, and even with advances in AI there has sadly been no matching improvement in reliable spam detection. But this one must have slipped through because you’re reading it right now.
