Travels New and Old

Welcome to issue #2 of What’s New with Eric, my at-most-weekly newsletter of things I’ve posted lately. Hope you enjoy it!

As February draws to a close, I have a few new things to share:

South America (2012): I've been working on a re-edit and re-telling of a month-long exploration of South America that I did back in 2012. I had a lot of fun rediscovering and re-processing the photos from that time. They had a lot of potential I didn't see then.

(Click through to see the full article, not just the Iguazu Falls one that is here. All told, there 159 photos, many of which I had never published before.)

A Brief Trip to Utah (2023): I was in Utah for a long weekend just now. This was mostly a family visit, but I did get a chance to get out and enjoy the snowy mountain landscapes east of Salt Lake City a bit.

Ever remember that you came across a link somewhere but have no way back to it? Yeah. Me too. I've started keeping a log of web sites, tools, and such that might be useful to me someday. Those of you who were around the Internet back in the day might remember Digg or even Pinterest before they become overly-glitzy social sites. This is sort of my own personal Digg. It's probably mostly of interest to my fellow geeks, but you never know what might show up.

This Might Be Useful: My personal link roll.

Oh, and I've moved my Mastodon presence to my own Mastodon host. If you were following me before, you should have auto-followed me here. If not, give it a whirl! I'm now @[email protected].
