What you can do the week of March 18
☎️ Call your Members of Congress every day. These calls should only take about 2-3 minutes each! Be sure to give your full name, location, and zip code every time you call.
• Amy Klobuchar – DC: (202) 224-3244, MN: (612) 727-5220
• Tina Smith – DC: (202) 224-5641, MN: (651) 221-1016
First, thank Amy and Tina for voting “no on cloture”, which was the Senate Dem’s only chance to stop the stopgap budget bill that codified Musk/DOGE’s power.
Next, ask them to move for the removal of Senator Schumer as minority leader immediately due to his unnecessary and dangerous capitulation to Trump. We need leaders who will stand up to Trump rather than “obeying in advance” as Schumer did.
• Betty McCollum – (202) 225-6631, St. Paul: (651) 224-9191
Ask Betty to stream her virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, March 19th on another venue besides Facebook and Instagram. Do join if you can!
🗓️ Join Attorney General Keith Ellison in person in Maplewood on Thursday, March 20 from 6:00–8:00 pm. (address provided upon RSVP)
Hear about what he is doing to protect Minnesota against federal government overreach and the hostile takeover of the US government by unelected billionaires and special interests. RSVP here
✋ Plan to join the Nationwide “Hands Off” protest on Saturday, April 5 from 12:00–4:00pm at the State Capitol. Follow updates at Handsoff2025.com.

“Some believe that it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay”. – J.R.R. Tolkien
