Candlelight vigil tonight

Various reports tell us about five million people showed up at over 2,100 No Kings rallies last week to voice their resistance to Trump’s bid for autocracy in America.

While we celebrate that extraordinary turnout, we’re also still reeling with shock, rage, and grief over last week’s shootings.

🕯️ Tonight, Wednesday, June 18, the Minnesota House DFL and Minnesota Senate DFL are jointly hosting a candlelight vigil to honor the memory of Melissa and Mark, as well as to hold John, Yvette, and Hope Hoffman in our thoughts as they continue to recover and heal.

The vigil will be held from 8:00 - 9:30 PM on the State Capitol Steps.

Attendees are asked to bring their own candles, but please do NOT bring signs of any kind.
