What I have found gripping

  • In a talk she gave this week, Céline Louvet pointed out that event-driven architecture requires considering the need(s), constraints of a project and accepting tradeoffs of technical decisions

  • Writing a programme to be executed in the command line without an extension can be explained as follows: it will be the user interface irrespective of the programming language used later on

  • According to Science Direct, code efficiency refers to the effectiveness of a code in representing information with minimal redundancy

  • LUMI stands for Large Unified Modern Infrastructure

Featured quote

Bring it back to individuals. DEI is not supposed to mean ‘woke capitalism’ but if someone thinks that, you won’t be able to convince them otherwise by talking in big picture terms. Instead, bring it back to actual people and business challenges. Treating colleagues well, creating the best teams, protecting against groupthink. Give examples of efforts that have improved your firm’s culture or helped individuals flourish and contribute more. — Helena Morrissey
