In Southern France (ca. 1905-1906), Alice Pike Barney (American, 1857–1931)

What I have found gripping

  • Reading through error messages when coding

  • Looking into what makes for a frugal AI system

  • Reading about who/what powers generative AI tools

  • The pros and cons of AI code reviews v. the ones of Human code reviews

  • There is a lot of value in Human code reviews and learning a craft (software and otherwise) from folks who value intentionality in how we solve problems, use tools at our disposal and how we share knowledge

  • Co-designing a solution (technical or not) with a wide range of perspectives in the room can reduce dead angles

Featured quote

Confidence grows through practice. Internal writing provides a low-pressure starting point: share drafts in a safe space, get comfortable, then move toward public articles. Breaking the process into small steps makes publishing approachable. — Mae Woods
