I’m writing to give Bay Area folks a little something to look forward to in the week ahead.
I’m honored to be moderating a discussion between three local luminaries this Thursday, Nov. 7, for a panel called Women in Public Art.
Lava Thomas, Mildred Howard and Cheryl Derricotte (!) will be on stage at the San Francisco Public Library to discuss their contributions to our urban landscapes, the ins and outs of working at large scales with metal and glass, and the shifts they hope for in the realm of public art.
This is a rare meeting of great minds, and it’s free!
Panel: Women in Public Art
Thursday, Nov. 7, 6–7:30 p.m.
Koret Auditorium, Main Library
100 Larkin Street, San Francisco
Hope to see you there,
Sarah
