Hello!
I’ve been in deep studio mode for the past three months, much to the detriment of my sanity and social life. But the end goal is finally here! On Thursday, September 12, 6–8 p.m. I hope you can join me for the opening of my solo show Rotator at Romer Young Gallery.
The paintings were made in San Francisco and the snowy wilds of Wyoming. There are references to a Tenderloin corner store sign, mazes, tile patterns, a rubber bath mat and a bunch of free-floating imagery from the preschool toy bin. I listened to a lot of mystery novels while making this show; some of that tricksy logic has definitely made its way into the paintings.

I’ll also have a new publication at the show, a collection of my sketchbook images from the past few years bound in a handy, zine-sized volume and appropriately titled Sketch Book. You can get a copy at Romer Young or through Colpa Press, starting Sept. 12.
