The Peoples Purse: Your Toolbox

Procurement Process
PB is committed to making sure that our money stays in Richmond, and in doing so we would like to call to action local contractors, construction workers, architects etc. This week we will be discussing the procurement process and how local companies can get involved in helping build these innovative projects that will be proposed and voted on soon.
In Richmond as well as most city/state/federal governments to bid on contracts your business must go through a procurement application. Essentially vetting and verifying that your business is capable of being contracted out by the City. While this may seem like a tedious process, we are hoping to help guide you all in becoming a part of the PB process:
Step 1: Gather W9, Direct Deposit Bank Forms (Supporting Documentation), and other resources tied to your business.
Step 2: Apply to be a Vendor, the application can be found here
Step 2: Wait to hear back from the city!
Step 3: Once approved you can find all projects that are up for bidding on this website.
