RVA People’s Budget Updates:
This week’s edition of The People's Purse will highlight the toolkit Budget Delegates are using to refine project proposals, identify gaps, and overview the City of Richmond’s department strategic plans.
Budget Delegate Resources
Budget Delegates are using various resources and criteria to determine the ideas that are feasible, equitable and will have the largest community impacts.
City Strategic Plans – Budget Delegates use city departmental strategic plans to align project ideas with city priorities.
What does that mean? When Budget Delegates identify a submitted project idea that is already in the pipeline to become a funded project through other city funding sources, they cut that idea from their short list.
Equity & Impact Rubric – Projects will be graded on Community Need, Project Impact, Equity, and Cost. This rubric helps evaluate who benefits, feasibility, and impact of each idea.
