🔳 ⚜️ "The Lost Soul" video, two shows so far ⚜️ 🔳
The second single from Profound is called “The Lost Soul” ~~ the recording from the album is available, and we made a video which is its own live performance.
We have two performances scheduled right now:
Saturday, June 27 in Brattleboro
~ You can pre-order Profound here ~ (scroll down for visual of the physical album)
Thanks so much, more details below,
Ruth
About the song: “The Lost Soul” came to me in a dream: I woke up with trails of a Moon River-type scene in my consciousness; a song, on nylon string guitar, melancholy and pretty. I went out on the porch with a guitar and did my best to capture it before it disappeared.
About the video: Performed by the Ruth Garbus Trio (elie mcafee-hahn: keys, voice; Nick Bisceglia: guitar, voice). Audio and video recorded by Johnny Gifford at Brattleboro Community Television on May 2, 2026. Video edited by Ruth, audio mixed by Nick and elie.
Virtual questions: I’m wondering if anyone would be interested in either a “listening party” (where we virtually listen to the new album together via Bandcamp), or a live-stream of a performance of the album? I would only want to do these things if we got a good number of people to [virtually] attend so speak up if either of these ideas interests you!
