🎀 Ruth Garbus: Two New Singles from "Alive People" Out Today
Hi, friends. My third LP, “Alive People,” is coming out on August 25th.
Two songs are out today, premiering on Flood Magazine: “Healthy Gamer” and “Mono No Aware.”
You can hear those two singles exclusively at Flood Magazine today. At midnight tonight, they'll be available on all the streaming platforms.

"Alive People" was recorded live in front of an audience of a hundred people (which included some of you reading this!) at 10 Forward in Greenfield, MA, in September of last year. It was brilliantly live-engineered by Nicholas Bisceglia, skillfully mixed by Justin Pizzoferrato, and features deep and beautiful performances from Julia Tadlock, elie mcafee-hahn, and Julie Bodian.
The cover art is by the incredible Audrey Weber, and design is by Jess Jones. Photos are by Josh Steele.
And I'm so happy that “Alive People" is being released on Orindal Records.
I'll be playing in LA on September 10th at 2220 Arts, and I'm working on booking a couple more shows out there as well, and I'll cook something up for some east coast shows, too, so stay tuned for more news as it rolls in.
