Intention /ɪnˈtenʃən/
An intention is an idea that you plan (or intend) to carry out. If you mean something, it’s an intention.
Your goal, purpose, or aim is your intention. It’s something you mean to do, whether you pull it off or not. You may have the best intention of celebrating Christmas with your colleagues, however, this may be something not everyone feels inclined to celebrate.
Now, is intent the same as impact? Nope.
“People often try to explain their actions based on their intentions, but others may have a very different perception of the overall impact of those actions.
At best, this can lead to a harmless mix-up. In other cases, though, this disconnect between someone’s intent and the actual impact of their actions can lead to major conflict.” (healthline)

Everyone’s a Aliebn When Ur a Aliebn Too: A Book by Jonny Sun
“Through this story of a lost, lonely and confused Alien finding friendship, acceptance, and love among the animals and plants of Earth, we will all learn how to be a little more human. And for all the earth-bound creatures here on this planet, we will all learn how sometimes, it takes an outsider to help us see ourselves for who we truly are.” (Goodreads)
• Suited by Jason Benjamin
“At its heart, "Suited” is a compassionate study of personal transformation from the inside out, not the outside in; the clothes here don’t make the man, or woman, or nonconforming person, but rather perfect and present what has already been made.“ (Variety)
This documentary was everything I needed one Saturday afternoon. I truly recommend this documentary.

Curated with love by Rose Cortijo, BEO (Bean Executive Officer).
I’m intentional about how I make use of others’ time. I embedded this in my work policies. After all, I want learners to know that I appreciate and value their time and energy, always.
Still, I have, for years, not tended to myself the same way I do to others. So I’m allowing myself my first ever two-week break this holiday season.
It feels like a big deal; you know. At the same time, I want to share this in case someone needs a friendly reminder that their time and energy are precious.
Rest is not a reward. You don’t need to earn it; you need and deserve it.
