84: Coming true

Hello.


Erratum: Last week I asked why the lake was covered in black balls, rather than white ones. Wouldn’t white balls reflect more light, I asked. Alby (@alby) Reid (the Internet’s favourite physics teacher) points out "White balls would have scattered the incoming sunlight and could have scattered it into a "gap" where it could reach the water. The black balls absorb all the incoming light and as it's light (not heat) that's the problem, they were the better choice." Thank you, Mr Reid.
