36: Complete interoperability

Hello

It’s officially spring! Roo’s Letter seems to be going well and is approaching 300 subscribers! I’ve just been the gym this morning! Much excitement!
To celebrate, and for the benefit all the new readers, here’s the utterly brilliant Roo’s Letter jingle that @wesayso recorded a while ago (thanks Wes).

After the Sistine Chapel link yesterday, Darren writes:
“that (admittedly pretty) 360 degree view in no way represents what it’s like.  It’s jam packed with sweaty tourists who are competing with the vatican staff, who look like priests, but I don’t know if they are real ones, or just pretend character ones, over using mobile phones and cameras.  They keep telling people to be quiet but there’s this background hum that I haven’t heard since primary school dinner time.  Also, by the time you get there you’re so annoyed by the strict one way system that you’re just wondering if you’ll ever make it out again.  Worst of all, there is no discount on the entry price if you are Catholic, nor even a VIP line.  All that time in Church and then you’re all treated equally.  What kind of religion is that?”

The Pirate Bay: “we’re going to experiment with sending out some small drones that will float some kilometers up in the air. This way our machines will have to be shut down with aeroplanes in order to shut down the system.”

“creativity is not magic, and there’s no such thing as a creative type. Creativity is not a trait that we inherit in our genes or a blessing bestowed by the angels. It’s a skill”
