Hello.
First, a recommendation.
“Caposcripti is a novel about shrunken heads and dropouts, language and voyeurism, spanning the continents of South America and Europe.”

The big news (in my world, at least) at the end of last week was This American Life’s retraction of their most popular episode.
1.) Ira Glass: “Regrettably, we have discovered that one of our most popular episodes was partially fabricated. This week, we devote the entire hour to detailing the errors in ‘Mr. Daisey Goes to the Apple Factory’”

2.) Mike Daisey: “What I do is not journalism. The tools of the theater are not the same as the tools of journalism.”

3.) Jeff Jarvis: “You need not take a journalist’s oath to tell the truth”

4.) Max Fisher: "By lying, Daisey undermined the cause he purported to advance. "

I have never been to the Sistene Chapel. I’d seen images of the most famous bit of it of course, but only ever in isolation, so I was stunned to see what the chapel actually looks like. Thanks to @MattSimpo for this link.
